This groundbreaking initiative, led by the Penang Port Commission (PPC), marks a pivotal moment in the state’s maritime tourism landscape. The PPC’s chairman, Datuk Yeoh Soon Hin, expressed his enthusiasm, highlighting the unique features of the Penang Princess. It will be the first vessel of its kind in the state, seamlessly blending a high-end restaurant with a scenic sea tour, offering passengers an unparalleled dining and sightseeing experience in the Strait of Malacca. Moreover, Yeoh envisions the ship becoming a hub for distinctive events, such as sea weddings, corporate functions, and cultural experiences, further enhancing Penang’s appeal as a tourism destination.
