Escape Routes: Weekend Adventures from the Big Apple
Starting in mid-February through mid-March, the Dallas-based airline giant is either reintroducing or significantly expanding three strategic routes departing from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) that target the warm Southeast region:

What's particularly noteworthy is how American is expanding these services. The LGA-JAX route represents a significant upgrade from this year's much more limited schedule. Similarly, the MYR service is expanding beyond the previous Saturday-only flights during peak summer season.
And this is the part most people miss – American hasn't served Myrtle Beach from LaGuardia since 2021, according to Cirium data. That was during the unique period when domestic leisure travel completely dominated international routes following the COVID-19 pandemic disruption.
